Use your expertise by experience.

Information alongside experiences

Women can get information about breast cancer everywhere.

Websites, brochures, and apps are full of information. But that is not always what women need.

Valuable knowledge and insights come primarily from women who have experienced similar situations themselves.

That is why women want to hear the experiences of other women who have had breast cancer. They want to learn from other women how they noticed that something was wrong.

Role models

Experts by experience are role models for other women.

By sharing a common background, we understand each other better.

It feels safe and familiar.

That is what we strive for: an atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable to ask and tell.

When are you an expert by experience?

You are an expert by experience if you have had breast cancer yourself.

But also if you have been closely involved. Think of your mother, grandmother, or a friend.

Collective expertise by experience

We bring all experiences together and thus build a collective expertise by experience. You will share this collective expertise with other women.

You are not alone. You will always work in a team.

Such a team consists of at least two women, one of whom has experienced breast cancer herself.

You help each other and boost each other's self-confidence.

YvYa provides a short training on how to effectively use collective expertise by experience.
